The fast chargers are most likely to be needed by those who are not in their home city, so will accept a premium price to recharge.
Say it charges 10 cars a day for $50 ( I pay $100 to refill my ICE), then it will earn $180k per year. If a third goes to the electricity retailer, they will be able to pay themselves off in 3 years. If they have their own solar panels then after they are paid off, perhaps another year, from then on the $180k will almost be all profit (just paying for grid electricity on cloudy days).
When batteries are cheaper it will be able to recharge even more cars per day.
This can be done in stages, say after each component pays off itself.
Likely to be a business earning around 30% - not to be scoffed at.
