I knew a science professor (online, not in person), who told me a lot of useful things. One that really stuck was that generally science does not provide proof. That is more in the field of mathematics. What science deals with is evidence. So I try to avoid the word proof and I'm wary of people who demand, or claim to have proof of something.
Sorry if that's a bit irrelevant. Science is closely involved in the how and the why of the lithium business, so it's not too far off topic I hope. Also I decided I am never going to post anything to Hotcopper ever again, and I wanted to end with something that gives me satisfaction.
