Yes, that's true, teenar, but not too many exceptions - once you drive them off the lot...and all that jazz. Indeed, it always amazes me how much and how fast luxury European cars fall in price when they're usually good for 600,000kms before major work rears its ugly head - in my experience. Conversely, I am not amazed that SH-EV"S lose their value, given its an evolving, new tech in a rapid period of growth. And according to reports we have read here; they are flying off the shelf. A boon for those that would normally have to wait for years before they could afford and experience a late model high tech EV - and one more clunker left on the lot for every SH-EV purchased.
