TBH really won't need to site charge.

Most jobs are within a 100km radius of home/office. A usual trade day is drive to job-park-drive home. (max 200km)

300km would probably easily do it inc running around after work to shops etc but I would like to see 500-600km to eliminate all range anxiety.

It would be extremely rare, I suggest, for most tradies to drive more than 400km in a normal day.

As far as home charging - most people around me have driveways and could easily run an external charging point - fixed on the fence/letterbox/porch pier etc. Not hard to do. So external park & charge at home - easy. At worst a cable under the garage door.

I've been installing fast chargers in new home garages for couple of years now. Usually I run 3 phase into the build then buy an off the shelf charger installed to the garage to allow fast charging at home. They are relatively cheap at less than $1000. Many clients are installing large solar arrays and batteries to supplement the system.
