Hi all
Except for those with more money than sense, on-going price wars will deter the smart consumer from entering into EVs, from simple fear of "when is the next discount coming?"
When FOMO affects the bank account!
Of course, discounts on new stock directly affects the already abysmal (and well documented) re-sale value of an EV purchased not long ago.
Meanwhile... there is no discounting on traditional ICE vehicles, and re-sale value is long established, predictable and stable.
This bad press surrounding EVs cannot be good news for the lithium supply chain?
I remember reading in the PLS threads, with the increasing negative sentiment towards EVs, a pivot towards hybrids, and less lithium required, somebody was forecasting a SP of $2?
