Elon is right,
Lithium IS plentiful ...... BUT it has to be in concentrations high enough and shallow enough to make it feasible to mine ... that's where the scarcity/ is.
In regards to Brines... it appears the amount of underground water required to extract the lithium is depleting the water and lowering the water table... apparently I'm reading it's becoming quite the problem in South American countries
