I found the following website via a posting by Dynofish (whom I thank) on Liontown HC, which deals with supply and demand.

I am interested in the following extract:
"Through Q4 2025, expected growth in mined supply remains robust despite subdued spot lithium prices. This is largely due to advanced brownfield expansions and the ramping of greenfield projects put into construction in 2022/2023."
I have been Google searching globally for “greenfield projects” which have actually been “put into construction”, but with little success. However, I did find Sigma Lithium in Brazil has plans to double production to 520ktpa by 2025. Of course, we have homegrown Liontown which may be producing this year.

I was surprised to find the only primarily lithium mine that is in production in the whole North American continent is North American Lithium (NAL) in Canada (aiming for 200 ktpa). Every other lithium company seems to be in exploration phase, including those at Thacker Pass on the northern boundary of Nevada.I would be pleased if anyone can post details of greenfield projects or brownfield expansions that will add to the supply chain in the next couple of years. My impression is that the world is headed for an acute shortage of lithium in the next two years as new supplies lag increased demand.
