"Mined #lithium output from Africa is set to increase threefold in 2024 compared to last year, as assessed by Benchmark’s latest Lithium Forecast.
⛏ In 2023, the region accounted for just 4% of mined lithium globally.
This year it is forecast to account for 10% of global supply.
This rapid growth will be the largest proportional increase in mined lithium supply of any region this year."
And this article has NOT improved my mood or pessimism regarding all things PLS.
This company which is so well run is up against it. I don't discount the ever expanding lithium production in Africa or Lepidolite production in China to keep the lid firmly on increasing lithium prices.
As far as future dividends I think new mining companies are intent on expansion and can't shell out. The last divvies were issued due to mind boggling lithium prices the company received as we well know.
