results were shit, outlook was great - Elon is a show pony - doesn’t always deliver on what he says

but what he said was enough to have some shorts cover, hence you saw huge volumes - I was watching last night, in 2 hours of trade 100 million shares changed hands - wow

this is the part I don’t like - ALB & SQM were considered beneficiaries in the rise and fall of Tesla - over the months as TSLA fell, ALB fell - last night TSLA went up, ALB was down most of the time apart from in the end - I have no idea what the lithium space needs to get rid of these shorts

Tiangi/Gianfeng - yesterday they got hammered - Tianqi was down 17% at one point due to reporting a huge loss. Is there lithium production too expensive? Should they consider reducing their lithium production. Tianqi is an industry leader, if they are having such issues, imagine the smaller players - something has to give at some point
