Sorry if this comment is considered to be a new topic but I think it relevant. Here it goes.
I wonder if anyone has been behind a 10 or so year old car especially a Diesel one and it literally spews out black smoke from its exhaust and thought:- does this car still comply with its factory emissions standards? Can you imagine what would happen if the registration of ICE vehicles were dependent on them passing emissions standards before registration was renewed? Not to mention to the cost of ownership? Comments?- especially from those in favour of ICE cars as the future of popular transport.
