Problem is, politicians talk and they have no idea how difficult it is to produce Lithium Chems and how long it will take to whittle away at China’s dominance.
ALB are a classic case. Apparently one of the biggest Chem producers who haven’t the IP to get Kemerton running yet. They’ve had to import expertise from a facility they purchased in China.
That is why PLS has teamed up with Ganfeng. They know their shit. Maybe Germany can incentivize the PLS/Ganfeng JV to build a processing plant in Europe/Germany.
