Defence Production Act: "US can make direct investments in Australian companies the same way it can in domestic firms." So we can expect a run on Australian companies?? Except it will be our 'friend and ally' going after Australian assets..... they won't be wanting to pay fair price either. Can't see that it will help our shorting position in the near future.
