the common misconception "trump = businessman" has little evidence, yet resonates strongly with a well-defined base (socio-economically speaking) of folks who want to be like him, or feel his tax cuts will benefit them. both are huge long-shots.
failed businesses, calling wind generators windmills, making up stories about how EV's are no good, pledging to turn around all of Biden's efforts to a bunch of oil heads,for a paltry $1B in his campaign's bank account so they can pay his fines, openly saying he will do everything to reverse the EV adoption rate in the US, 19 accusations of sexual assault corroborating his M.operandi taped bragging, etc... are more examples needed?
I believe you might have a hard time explaining how renewables don't work in Norway, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil, etc.
and of course the union of black lung surgeons and oncologists might agree with you about coal
yes, oil has it's case as lubricants in industry until cost-effective alternatives are developed, but to say the "world" isn't ready to develop, depend-on, benefit-from, renewables, reminds me of my father in law saying the u.s. wasn't ready for a black president when Obama was being elected
