Hows this different from any other manufacturer?
2016 ford ranger asks for permissions on my phone if i want to use bluetooth. It gives them the rignt to view my messages and send data via my phones internet for gods knows why.
its not an EV problem, its a modern corporation problem. "Smart" tvs literally have been caught collecting data and audio recordings and sending that.
"Smart" phones certainly do the same. How many times has someone nearby mentioned a topic or product unrelated to your life, only for you to recieve facebook adds out of the blue for it hours later?
