I estimate there are $100 billion of fuel not being sold this year because if EVs, and more each future year. If as dingdong.finn predicts that ICEs will become even more efficient then even less petrol will be sold. Meanwhile sales of EVs as well as hybrids are increasing, adding more fuel to the bottom line fire of Big Oil.
So, what is Big Oil doing about it?
