More than 648m shares have to be bought back by shorters.
Any share that PLS buys back cannot be lent to shorters.
The more shares bought back by PLS, the less shares available for manipulators, manipulators' friends and manipulator imitators (maggots).
PLS stated in their capital management framework that buybacks are a viable instrument. With PLS being cashflow positive even at suppressed spodumene prices I see no better way for "payback".
