Where does price recovery come from?
Holding pricing sub $1000/ton forces some ex suppliers underwater, and severely limits investment in new projects.
Planned projects with already expected/modelled inputs don't happen. Existing mines close. Price rises.
Gigafactories open in EU and US (and other locations) increasing demand and price transparency. Prices rise
EV and battery demand continues to grow exponentially within China and externally - outpacing mine supply. prices rise.
Some of the largest EV markets aren't even tapped yet imo.
