I'm sorry, I disagree. I have lived in SE Asia since 2012. It is normal and accepted that non-locals (except those rich enough to pay) cannot buy property (except condos). Australia and other western countries should adopt the same policy. It is the sovereign right of a nation and has nothing to do with trade
