No carbonate will be shipped to the US and part of the new agreement. Here's an article from earlier today regarding the new Yahua/Tesla agreement:

Here's the big takeaway, beyond the fact that the new agreement is for carbonate, and that Yahua already supplies Tesla in China with Hydroxide:
"Tesla’s lithium supply agreement with Yahua will likely support Giga Shanghai production and cars that won’t be sold in the U.S. market."
