DVE I think this one, about fire risks, is the only one of your posts that may have some substance as it's a psychological punch. Risking your home can push back many buyers ( I know a few).
Hopefully we can get some statistics about numbers of fires while charging. Probably still less that ICE when refueling, although EVs are charged in a garage and unnatended, which has a higher risk ramifications that a Petrol Station.
The general statistics about vehicle fires are very clear that EVs catch fire one or 2 orders of magnitude less than ICE cars.
However the concern is about EV catching fire when parked/charging... Does anyone have this info or can point us in the right direction ?
