It looks like the EU/Europe might be in somewhat of a 'Catch 22' when it comes to penalizing China with EV tariffs. Somewhere along the way they forgot that most of the legacy European car manufacturers are now largely part owned by a few wealthy Chinese and guess where many of those factories are located - Bazinga! That, and a few other reasons I'm yet to fully digest, means that Europe could well walk back their tariffs.
Protectionism is no man's friend in a world now moving at warp speed.
