Usually it goes the opposite. Trump anti EV the lithium plays will go up (these wall street guys are pretty good at reverse trade). China EV companies are not relying on the USA market. If they somehow manage to get in via Mexico then it would be a bonus. If Trump wants to win he needs to win Elon Musk fanboys. and the anti Trump guys wont buy petrol (gas) and will buy EVs (even if they hate musk).
Biden could be out but Newsom is in. or Obama.
