As the price of lithium plunges and for that matter right now a lot of producers and explorers will realise that their current operations and/or feasibility studies
will not support an operation.
Hence, these companies could likely go into care and maintenance which will hopefully take some lithium off the market and create some demand at a later stage and an improvement in the price of lithium. When is anyone's guess. However, in saying this it never helped PDN when uranium prices recovered . As prices recovered so did costs. Has happened to many multi billion $ companies. Paladin is one that stands out albeit it is a into Uranium.
Comparing the 2 charts looks very ominous. In the making? Bajesus and PLS is still capped at $9 billion. Plenty of downside. PLS at $1 would still have a market cap of $3 billion!!!
