EV growth rates are still generally on track, with Europe and the US being somewhat slow (but still in line with expectation) and China actually being ahead of expectation. The 3rd gen of EVs will make them a more viable option for a larger portion of the population as well. (Although they will never be suitable for EVERY persons use case. The current gen is not there yet either. Flame me, IDGAF.)
This does not take into account the Li requirement for a broader energy resiliency transition, globally.
Our 23% short position is not a commentary on PLS, it's a commentary on the Li sector, with us being viewed as the biggest boys on the block, so an easy short gamble to take.
There will only be a handful of players left standing when this recoil let's go. And it will. Just like ore did.
