Drum brakes all round on the HR. They were fine. Similar to all brakes, they should be inspected and maintained. An excellent car particularly in outback conditions. They were made for the country. Sure, redundant now in terms of technology but never failed me in 26 years of driving it and clocking up around 350,000 miles (on top of the 93000 miles it had done when i bought it).
I accept that this is an EV forum but i wouldn't rubbish cars which pioneered Australia. GLTAH Keith
