If you listen to KB, he believes it is China’s solution to achieving a low Lithium chemicals price. He believes production is being subsidised to achieve this.
China is using these cheap chemical prices to rapidly transition to the electrification of everything and obtain a manufacturing advantage.
Listen to KB from the 28:50 point. Some points raised would be worth considering.
Unfortunately for converters, it is not sustainable indefinitely.
