Interesting survey results. Not unexpected though.
Have to say. I’m now disappointed I didn’t go full EV. The PHEV is a great drive. Probably because I drive it on Electric mode 95%. I have installed a 32A circuit for the 7kW charger so a bit over 2 hours and I get a full charge and 60km of range. Grid supply at off peak, 20c kWh. Sun shining, much of the charging load is solar powered. It’s now 9 months since purchase and I’ve been to a servo twice, and those servo visits were on a long road trip.
With ICE cost parity not far away (thanks to Chinese mass production and uptake) the economics should accelerate uptake, even in baked in FF countries like Australia.
