On the midday news, ABC TV, RIO TINTO are committing $~10 billion to converting trains and trucks in the Pilbara to Electric.
My apologies if already posted and if I have any figures wrong but I believed it to be a commitment for this decade and can't remember if they said any start/completion dates.
Anyone that isn't aware of how big their operations are in The Pilbara, I can assure you they are Very Big!
it's great to see some of the big companies changing their way of thinking towards a greener planet with less pollution.
interested to here any other comments on this as this is not advice for investing
