I just watched the Trump speech. EV will not be mandated in the USA from day one. Petrol cars will be manufactured again and all cars sold will be manufactured in America... every part on any vehicle will be manufactured in the USA. Trump is going to implement the highest tariffs on all foreign car manufacturers around the world to force them to become uneconomical to sell in the USA.Even all the car plants that China have set up in Mexico with be forced to close down.
The government will not be paying any money into ev charging stations.
Well Australia and the labor party have climbed into bed with China and it's all going tits up by the sound of Trump.
Trump is a very smart business man, He understands that China have spent $367 billion buying up the commodity market for EV'S and becoming the controller of these products. Instead of trying to get the remaining 20% of the market he is banning the Chinese from selling any vehicles that are not produced in the USA. So if the Chinese wants to sell any vehicles in the USA they have to first build factories in the USA. These policies are being implemented as soon as Trump takes office. Interesting times ahead!!!! Elon is sitting in the driving seat in relation to the Chinese.
