There's plenty of unexplored lands that can be drilled but the oil & gas industry don't want to. It's pretty easy to understand why.
If you're an oil producer why would you want to supply more to the market and make less per barrel?
The US is currently the worlds largest oil producer and in 2023/2024 produces more than they ever had in the past.
