Is that really "the question"?
I would have thought that a better question would be:
"how much are astute investors who bought in at a realistic price likely to generate in dividends and franking credits over the next, say, 20 years?'
I suppose it's all a matter of perspective.
"A device for transferring funds from the impatient to the patient". I've always loved that one.
