China are likely trying to achieve two outcomes. 1.Continue to depress the lithium market while they still have dominance. 2.Maintain supply for themselves due to their shift to increasing amounts of EV's sold & the fact they may be impacted by mining companies selling to IRA customers as a priority due to the higher margin they will achieve.
