I'm sorry but hybrids are not better value and will not outlast pure EV.
You my friend have unfortunately been drinking the petrochemical coolaid. It's an easy mistake to make with so much bs news being rammed down your throat.
A few simple questions illustrate this.
How can the maintenance and running costs of two separate drivetrains be cheaper than one?
Why would a mechanical engine, cooling system and drivetrain last longer than a simple electric motor?
What is the price of petroleum doing year on year?
What is the price of batteries doing year on year?
