You should be aware of the "EV phobia" that is sweeping South Korea of late, due to a recent spate of terrible EV fires.

We are not talking about just one EV catching fire (no one would care about that), but EVs catching fire causing massive collateral damage to both property and people.

Even though some imbeciles bring up ICE vehicles catching fires, but ICE fires obviously do not have the devastating level of collateral damage associated with lithium battery thermal runaway where conventional fire suppression techniques fail to work.

If this EV phobia spreads to other countries, then expect a complete revolt against EVs.
Then consider what impact that might have on lithium prices and the company SPs.

A recent survey by SK Communications, the operator of the web portal Nate, revealed that 87% of 5,568 adults said they would prefer the government to implement regulations such as separate parking areas for EVs or banning them from underground parking lots. “Electric cars are potential bombs on wheels. We need stronger regulations,” said a respondent."
