I live semi rural & do quite a lot of country region trips. I know at least a dozen people similar to my lifestyle, who would buy an EV, if the range was better, and if there were more charging stations (that are functioning), and you didn't have to line up in a queue, behind 3 or 4 other EV's at a charging facility.
Its not just about range anxiety, there is also charging infrastructure anxiety, and ability to charge when you want to charge anxiety, to overcome.
For me, doing country travelling, an EREV, would be a very appealing option, where i could have range, be somewhat eco friendly and not be restricted by a charging facility issues.
