Looks like another supply crunch is a certainty, the longer the Lithium price stays where it is. Thacker Pass now looking shaky, unless the US is willing to subsidize home supply. Apart from a few incumbents, who in the western world will finance a loss making project?
Which MIN project will be first to go into C&M? Will LTR slow commissioning and seek a capital injection?
Which governments will be willing to part with critical minerals resources for no profit from royalties or tax? Namibia has banned the export on unprocessed minerals and that trend will continue, if not a total ban because there is no financial benefit to the country.
Interesting times.
