I think an even bigger risk regarding China, is that once the Western world + other big players in Asia (Japan and South Korea) finally get their act together regarding downstream refining (for the sake of energy security), Western lithium raw material companies will prioritise selling to non-Chinese participants given the orchestrated chaos that China has dumped on the lithium industry (funding and deliberately taking losses on incredibly expensive and socially irresponsible lepidolite mines being the best example).
