For me it has come to a point where lithium prices don't matter to share price. Could they go lower? Sure. Could more lithium supply get destroyed? Sure. Should you make a bet in a CYCLICAL market? Sure, if you want to.

Shorters want ~613 million shares. (subtract some shares they get by buying LRS)

A lot of people have already succumbed to (orchestrated, perceived and somewhat real) negativity. They already sold to shorters.

Will there be significantly more supply of PLS shares below AUD 2.50? 613m plus or minus? I don't think so.

Will the inevitable be dragged out? Absolutely.
But what will the price be for the last million of shares that will be bought back in a few years time (in a different phase of the lithium price cycle, after P1000, P2000, resource upgrades, downstream JV,...)? Will it be below or above AUD 2.50?
