Ken and Dale both have incentives to make "positive" comments. Ken is playing the salesman for an early stage asset. Tell me a salesman who has ever said it's a bad time to buy/invest in their product. Dale is the CEO of a company. He has an obligation to remain optimistic. He's like a head coach. A head coach is going to remain optimistic even if he has the most pathetic team in the league. It's a morale thing.
