Thanks for the post but the words make Dale Henderson sound like a footy coach rather than the CEO of a solid company. Who does he want to put distance between, and why does he want to embarrass them? We (Pilbara minerals) should want to make profits mining, not engage in some downstream ambitions where the profits are very skinny at the moment.
Incidentally, we have only an 18% equity in the Posco JV and we are still accruing interest on the as yet unpaid $79 million (secured by Convertible bonds).
"So what are we doing next?" Dale asks. I should have thought the Latina Resources takeover is enough.
I have seen companies go broke through being overly ambitious, and I don't want Pilbara Minerals to join them.
