The fact is, an EV is a much simpler construction than an ICE. The frame is similar but the engine and software are dead simple. Non-Chinese makers have tried to get rich on selling expensive EV's but having allowed China to swamp the market with cheap, good EV's. Western car makers will have trouble reclaiming that market. Buyers have long memories and will continue with what they know is good value!!
