good info, what this highlights is that the Chinese will bribe and spend a shit load of money to try and secure supply for Li, which they know will be needed in the next many years, they also know that the EV market is only getting started, so they will try to suppress the price to max their profits, its kinda rational, but they also know eventually they will need to pay higher price for Li, which is why I'm a long term holder of PLS
and if you want evidence of US banks manipulating markets, look no further than JPM and precious metals markets in 2016
