My Super portfolio is 20% LTM & 70% PLS, my plan was to sit on these for the next 10 getting paid divvies and hopefully enough to retire on. This wrinkle to my plan is a little bit of a disappointment but hey that's the stock market casino we live in.

Been in LTM since GXY days and have mixed feelings about finally being out after the ORE merger to become AKE and then the why oh why merger with Livent to become LTM. Although I've done well on returns on investment it is still disappointing but one thing that puts me at ease is knowing that our PLS has the best management in the game. Absolute faith and trust that they have shareholders best interests at heart unlike the LTM board who have just cashed in to line their own pockets.

I believe there will be a lot of LTM holders that will sell short term at near to the acquisition price rather than wait until mid 2025 to be paid out, and I fully expect a large percentage of them will buy PLS either topping up already holdings or to become a holder. I for sure would but I can't due to % that PLS is of my portfolio thanks to tremendous growth since I bought in.

This move by RIO puts the whole lithium market in the spotlight and we should see some significant reratings as long as the spot continues on a positive upward trend between now and mid next year.
