The cooling period in the renewables space will most likley be seen as s boost to the larger establisehd players. As the fizz cooled I am sure they could see the landscape clearer. M&A is not over of course, probably not a concern buying at these levels, however I don't see this as a target for hostile, just my opinion.
Rio's recent move was probably good timing given the money they are saving with astute timing.
I took a position in PLS yesterday, nothing overly scientific, margins, cash, in ground assets, life of mine etc All should see this in the top percentile of profitable producers over a nice long period.
