lesv, no doubt PLS will continue to supply Gangfen but they are in the process of doing a 50% JV, with the soon to be formed, Leo Lithium in Mali.
Leo is the Lithium spinoff from Firefinch and Gangfen have signed offtake agreements for all spodumene and expect to build mine and be producing from there at the end of 2023. They have brought forward the FID by 6 months, so are obviously not hanging aroud watching.
This is obviously a strategic move to ensure supply going forward. I see it as a good sign for all Lithium producers as Gangfen clearly need the chemicals and know what supply and demand is predicted in the near to mid term future.
Very happy to have them on board with us.
