Very good thinking. I have thought for a long time that this war of ridicule between alarmists and deniers is farcical and should revert to square one. Instead of 'what you believe' - which is not science - it should be about irrefutable proven science. There are still far too many lies and assumptions in support of which club you belong to. The challenge is finding 'an independent body of specialists' who can put their politics and biases to one side and seek out the truth and prove the science. If the science is proven then there is no argument left to have. IMO - to many long term decisions being made on shaky foundations - by politicians with a 3 yr time frame - just madness.
