even if lithium's CO2 were to be calculated in an EV is will be very minimum. each EV only uses 10-20kg of lithium (please correct me if I am wrong).
Therefore I personally feel the big hooha on this CO2 emission for Lithium is quite uncalled for and negligible compared to other metals (ie, nickel, Iron, etc) and components (metal parts that are smelted that uses COAL to form the structure etc.) that are required in an EV.
