Fords America’s Kumar Galhotra has just stated that they are doubling production capacity of their F-150 Lightning to 150,000 per year.
Mach E production is being upgraded to 200,000.
Battery factories are going to be built in Tennesse and Kentucky for future production in 2025.
Now that’s one OEM.
There are more and they are all shifting to batteries for power that for the forseeable future will need lithium and a lot more than what is produced now, imo.
Going to need a bigger mine.
Valuations for the ICE manufacturing side of vehicles will move to zero while EV will grow.
Take a look at Rubin, Tesla, etc., compared to legacy brands.
