EVs will improve and they will become a "thing" in Australia. I have to agree it will be a while before Australia gets over the range anxiety. IMO isolation also brings opportunities- micro power stations are going to be a big thing hear. Take a place like Coral Bay they use wind turbines most of the time but most nights when the wind drops off the diesel generator kicks in. That will become a lithium power plant - the diesel cost vs the cost of putting a battery in alone will make it economical - keeping it clean in a pristine part of the world is a bonus. Farmers are also starting to get an advantage from these micro power stations. It has the potential to be a big thing here even without government incentives the economics of using your roof to power your home is going to be big
