Just watching Albo do his budget reply speach.
He clearly said if Labor was in government they would ensure that all the added value that occurs oversea's with the Lithium mined in this country would happen here in Australia if they were in government.
If they have the vision to make sure the coversion of the spod and the manufacture of the batteries happens here then why can't the libs do the same.
This would be great for the country and great for Pilbara minerals.
Its about time the right incentives are put in place to make this happen.
We are looking at a trillion dollars in debt in a few years time so a couple a billion dollars of incentives to make this happen is a drop in the ocean and I'd argue it would generate tax revenue and jobs that would far outway this investment.
Its about time manufacturing returned to this counrty.
